Multifunctional cinema and concert hall in the central core of Moscow-City

Objective:

• To build a multifunctional transformable cinema and concert hall with a sliding translucent dome
• Provide a free pedestrian connection between the Administrative Complex of the Government of Moscow, the Afimol Mall, the Concert Hall, the Evolution Tower, the Expocenter and the Bagration Bridge

Difficulties:

• Arrangement of a 25 meter swimming pool in two deformation blocks
• Creating a support ring under the dome with a diameter of 64 meters, also located above the two deformation blocks
• Arrangement of increased spans, console floors, up to 8 meters long, and taking into account the preservation of free planning - this is not an everyday task
• And all this taking into account the fact that we constantly have to balance the existing design of the central core in order not to overload them

Solutions:

• Monolithic building of complex shape with a translucent dome with a diameter of 64 meters
• The complex includes: a multifunctional transforming hall, operating in Wellness and Entertainment formats, a spa and thermal complex, a fitness center, a restaurant, a banquet hall, a rehabilitation center, a beauty salon
• The shifted dome overlap transforms the room into an open arena. It is transformed into 18 different modes that allow you to hold events of different types and content
• Designed hour square. The tile on the tracks is laid out in the form of a dial, benches in the form of a clock and a lot of greenery

• The round hall has a transformable stage part and a sliding dome. The shape of the building resembles a giant dial - the biggest clock in the world. The time will be displayed both on the roof and on the facade itself
• The construction site is located on the existing structures of the Central Core Moscow International Business Center "Moscow-City". The lower 2 floors of the existing building are designed to accommodate a large metro hub, which is already in operation. The next 3 floors with a mark occupied underground parking. On the next 2 floors are located the premises of the Afimall City shopping and entertainment center.
• The shape of the building resembles a giant dial - the biggest clock in the world. The time will be displayed both on the dome and on the faсade
• The glass facade, decorated with a mechanism, and is visible from the embankment and windows of skyscrapers
• Concert hall is designed for 8000 people
